He has an In-depth knowledge of welding engineering practice, and a holder of Certified International Welding Engineer (CIWE) as well as a CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector Level 3 and a Registered Chartered Welding Engineer with the Engineering Council, United Kingdom (UK).
Education
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Welding Engineering (IWE) and a German Welding engineering post graduate Diploma from German Welding Society (DVS) Germany.
He is certified to ASNT NDT Level 2 in RT, UT, MT and PT. An active professional member of The Welding Institute UK and a registered Chartered Welding Engineer of the Engineering Council United Kingdom.
Apart from being the only Internationally Licensed Welding Engineer (CIWE) in Africa, He is also the only African Chattered Welding Engineer resident in Africa.
Career
Clement Eribo’s professional skill has been greatly strengthened through holding of multiple job titles with different responsibilities including; Third party, Senior Welding Inspector, QA/QC, NDT Coordinator, Technical Director, Project management on very complex projects and Consultancy.
He is comfortable with any workload, but excel with complex ones as well as managing people. He is highly experienced and familiar with current Oil and Gas construction Industry codes and standards.
Responsibility
As our Principal Welding &Engineering Inspection Consultant, his roles and responsibilities, in line with his core skill and expertise, includes but not limited to the under-listed:
- Technical support services on welding related matters.
- Proffering solutions to problems involving welded steel piping and structural fabrication.
- Weld and structural failure investigation/analysis.
- Preparation, Qualification and Certification of welding procedures to guide production as well as welding personnel.
- Plan, analyze, and enhance welding processes according to the need of projects.
- Develops on site welding assessment program.
